Terms of Service

1) Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of RentSolely.com, including its rental-search pages, directories, calculators, housing resources, links, content, tools, and related services collectively referred to as the “Service.”

RentSolely is owned and operated by Unknown Consulting, LLC. References in these Terms to “RentSolely,” “RentSolely.com,” “we,” “us,” or “our” refer to Unknown Consulting, LLC and the RentSolely Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue your use of the Service.

2) What RentSolely Does

RentSolely provides rental-search tools, housing information, educational resources, affordability information, rental calculators, and links to third-party rental listings and housing-related services.

RentSolely generally does not own, manage, inspect, lease, or control the properties displayed or referenced through the Service. Rental listings and related information may originate from independent third-party websites, property owners, property managers, apartment communities, advertisers, government sources, or other outside providers.

The Service is intended to help users locate and evaluate potential rental resources. It does not guarantee that a property is available, suitable, legitimate, affordable, safe, or accurately described.

3) No Real Estate, Brokerage, or Property-Management Relationship

Unknown Consulting, LLC is not acting as your real estate broker, leasing agent, property manager, landlord, tenant representative, attorney, financial advisor, or housing counselor merely because you access or use RentSolely.

Your use of the Service does not create a brokerage, fiduciary, agency, landlord-tenant, advisory, or professional relationship between you and Unknown Consulting, LLC.

Any rental application, lease, deposit, screening decision, payment, communication, inspection, or transaction is between you and the applicable third-party property owner, property manager, listing provider, or service provider.

4) Informational Purposes Only

Information provided through RentSolely is for general informational and educational purposes only. It should not be considered legal, financial, tax, real estate, housing, credit, or professional advice.

Rental laws, tenant protections, application requirements, housing programs, eligibility requirements, pricing, fees, and availability vary by location and may change without notice. You should consult an appropriately qualified professional or government agency regarding your particular circumstances.

5) Rental Listings and Third-Party Information

Rental prices, availability, amenities, photographs, square footage, addresses, pet policies, fees, deposits, lease terms, income requirements, and other listing details may be supplied by third parties.

Unknown Consulting, LLC does not independently inspect or verify every listing, property, landlord, property manager, advertiser, or service provider referenced through the Service.

Listing information may be incomplete, outdated, duplicated, inaccurate, unavailable, or changed after it appears on RentSolely. You must confirm all material information directly with the property owner, manager, listing provider, or other responsible party.

6) Rental Estimates, Calculators, and Housing Data

Rent calculators, affordability estimates, fair-market-rent information, housing-cost estimates, and similar tools are provided for general informational purposes only.

Results are estimates based on the information entered by the user, public datasets, third-party data, or generalized assumptions. Actual rent, income requirements, utility costs, fees, deposits, program eligibility, and other expenses may be different.

Calculator results and housing data are not guarantees, appraisals, credit decisions, eligibility determinations, or offers to rent housing.

7) Independent Due Diligence and Rental Scams

You are responsible for conducting your own independent due diligence before contacting a listing provider, submitting an application, signing a lease, transferring money, disclosing personal information, or entering into a rental transaction.

You should independently verify matters such as:

• The identity and authority of the landlord, owner, agent, or property manager.
• The physical existence, condition, location, and availability of the property.
• The accuracy of rent, deposits, fees, utilities, amenities, and lease terms.
• Whether the person requesting payment has the legal authority to rent the property.
• The terms of any application, background check, credit check, deposit, or lease.

Do not send cash, gift cards, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or other difficult-to-reverse payments to an unverified person. Exercise particular caution when someone refuses to show a property, demands immediate payment, pressures you to act quickly, or offers terms that appear unusually favorable.

Unknown Consulting, LLC is not responsible for scams, fraudulent listings, impersonation, theft, payment disputes, application fraud, or losses resulting from interactions with third parties.

8) Payments and Sensitive Information

Unless a RentSolely feature expressly states otherwise, RentSolely does not collect rent, security deposits, application fees, holding fees, or other property-related payments on behalf of landlords or property managers.

Do not submit credit-card numbers, bank-account details, Social Security numbers, passwords, government identification documents, or other highly sensitive information through a general RentSolely contact form.

If you follow a link to a third-party application, payment, or screening service, your information will be handled according to that third party’s separate terms and privacy practices.

9) Fair Housing and Lawful Use

RentSolely supports equal access to housing and does not permit the Service to be knowingly used for unlawful housing discrimination or other illegal conduct.

Users, advertisers, property owners, managers, and listing providers are responsible for complying with all applicable fair-housing, anti-discrimination, accessibility, advertising, consumer-protection, and rental laws.

You may not use RentSolely to publish, request, promote, or facilitate discriminatory rental preferences or unlawful housing practices.

10) Third-Party Links and Services

The Service may contain links to third-party rental websites, listing platforms, property-management companies, apartment communities, advertisers, government agencies, screening providers, financial services, and other external resources.

Unknown Consulting, LLC does not own or control these third parties and is not responsible for their content, listings, availability, accessibility, accuracy, pricing, products, services, security, policies, or practices.

The inclusion of a third-party link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement, certification, partnership, recommendation, or guarantee.

Your use of any third-party website or service is at your own risk and is governed by that third party’s separate terms, conditions, and privacy policies.

11) Advertising, Affiliate Links, and Compensation

RentSolely may display advertisements, sponsored content, referral links, affiliate links, or links to third-party rental and housing services.

Unknown Consulting, LLC may receive compensation when a visitor views or clicks an advertisement, follows a referral link, submits information to a third party, or purchases or uses a product or service.

Compensation does not guarantee an endorsement or favorable recommendation. You remain responsible for independently evaluating every property, product, service, provider, and transaction.

12) Eligibility to Use the Service

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Service only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

By using the Service, you represent that you have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.

13) Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the Service for an unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, discriminatory, or abusive purpose.
• Submit or distribute false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized rental listings.
• Impersonate a landlord, property owner, manager, tenant, company, government agency, or other person.
• Use the Service to collect deposits, fees, personal information, or payments through fraud or deception.
• Use the Service to stalk, threaten, harass, exploit, discriminate against, or dox another person.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, copy, or systematically collect Service content without prior written permission.
• Use automated systems that place an unreasonable burden on the Service.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers, databases, accounts, or security features.
• Upload malware, viruses, malicious scripts, or other harmful material.
• Reproduce, resell, license, republish, or commercially exploit Service content without written permission.
• Interfere with the operation, security, availability, or performance of the Service.

14) Intellectual Property

Except for third-party materials, RentSolely and its original content, organization, design, graphics, logos, text, software, interfaces, databases, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Unknown Consulting, LLC and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

You may access and print a reasonable amount of content for your personal, noncommercial use.

You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, license, modify, create derivative works from, scrape, or commercially exploit Service content without prior written permission from the applicable copyright owner.

Trademarks, property photographs, rental descriptions, logos, and other materials supplied by third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

15) Copyright Complaints

If you believe material appearing through the Service infringes your copyright or other intellectual-property rights, please contact us and provide enough information to identify:

• The protected work or material.
• The allegedly infringing content.
• The location of the content on RentSolely.
• Your contact information.
• The basis for your complaint.

16) Service Changes and Availability

Unknown Consulting, LLC may modify, update, restrict, suspend, remove, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

We do not guarantee that the Service, any rental listing, any third-party link, or any particular feature will always remain available, uninterrupted, accurate, secure, or error-free.

We may restrict or block access to the Service when reasonably necessary to address misuse, suspected fraud, legal concerns, security risks, technical problems, or violations of these Terms.

17) Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT, LISTINGS, LINKS, CALCULATORS, DATA, ESTIMATES, RESOURCES, AND FEATURES ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNKNOWN CONSULTING, LLC DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, complete, current, or error-free.
• Defects, broken links, inaccurate listings, or technical errors will be corrected.
• A listed property is available, legitimate, habitable, affordable, or suitable for you.
• A landlord, property owner, manager, advertiser, roommate, or other third party is trustworthy or qualified.
• You will qualify for a rental property, housing program, subsidy, loan, screening process, or other service.
• Rental prices, fees, availability, or eligibility information will remain unchanged.

18) Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, UNKNOWN CONSULTING, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AGENTS, AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, AND SERVICE PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

This limitation includes damages arising from or related to:

• Your access to, use of, or inability to use RentSolely.
• Your reliance on rental listings, pricing, housing data, calculators, estimates, or other information.
• A fraudulent, inaccurate, unavailable, misleading, or incomplete rental listing.
• Interactions, communications, applications, payments, leases, disputes, or transactions with third parties.
• Rental scams, identity theft, payment fraud, unauthorized charges, deposits, or application fees.
• The condition, safety, legality, habitability, accessibility, or suitability of a property.
• Housing discrimination or the conduct of a landlord, property manager, advertiser, tenant, roommate, or other person.
• Third-party websites, advertisements, products, reports, screening services, or resources.
• Lost profits, data, opportunities, housing, deposits, fees, goodwill, or other losses.
• Service interruptions, errors, security incidents, viruses, or technical failures.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of Unknown Consulting, LLC for any claim arising from or related to the Service will not exceed the greater of:

1. The amount you paid directly to Unknown Consulting, LLC for use of the Service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim; or
2. One hundred dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, these provisions will apply only to the maximum extent permitted by law.

19) Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Unknown Consulting, LLC and its members, managers, employees, contractors, agents, affiliates, licensors, and service providers from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:

• Your access to or use of the Service.
• Your violation of these Terms.
• Your violation of applicable law.
• Your violation of another person’s rights.
• Information, listings, messages, or materials you submit.
• Your rental application, lease, payment, communication, or transaction with a third party.
• Fraudulent, misleading, discriminatory, abusive, or unauthorized conduct associated with your use of the Service.

20) Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

21) Severability and Waiver

If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

22) Governing Law and Venue

These Terms and any dispute arising from or relating to the Service will be governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any legal action arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service must be brought in a state or federal court of competent jurisdiction located in Florida, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

23) Changes to These Terms

Unknown Consulting, LLC may revise these Terms periodically. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

Your continued use of the Service after revised Terms become effective constitutes your acceptance of those revisions.

24) Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional policies or notices presented through the Service, constitute the entire agreement between you and Unknown Consulting, LLC concerning your use of RentSolely.
